A room near St Luke's Magic Valley when you do not know how many nights

Illustration of the Twin Falls area, southern Idaho
Illustration of the Magic Valley landscape. It is a drawing, not a photograph, and it does not show any of our rooms or buildings.

St Luke's Magic Valley Medical Center is at 801 Pole Line Rd W. Every one of the twelve properties we run is between 2.8 and 5.0 miles from that address, and between six and ten minutes by car.

If you are reading this because somebody was admitted and nobody can tell you for how long, the nightly rate is not the number that matters. Where a property carries the room type, a single is $65 a night or $250 for the week, and a double is $75 a night or $275 for the week. A studio is $325 a week and is not sold by the night.

Every competitor figure on this page was read on that business's own website on September 2, 2026. Lodging prices move. Read them again before you decide anything on them.

Twelve properties, ranked by the drive to St Luke's

Drive times were measured on September 1, 2026, address to address, on the public road network. They are road distances and road times. They are not a traffic forecast, and they are not what the drive feels like at shift change.

All twelve New Leaf Properties motels, lodges and extended stays, ordered by measured drive time to St Luke's Magic Valley Medical Center, 801 Pole Line Rd W. Measured September 1, 2026.

Across the twelve the spread is four minutes and 2.2 miles, from 2.8 miles at Deluxe Motor Lodge to 5.0 miles at Twin Falls Motel. Deluxe is the shortest in distance and measures 7 minutes. Apollo Motor Inn is the shortest in time at 6 minutes and measures 2.9 miles. El Rancho, Park and Monterey are all on the same stretch of Addison Avenue West and come out identical at 3.0 miles and 7 minutes, so the order among those three is arbitrary.

This ranking is our twelve and nothing else. We did not measure the drive to St Luke's from Canyon Springs Extended Stay, Blue Lakes Inn, Motel 6 or SureStay. All four sit on Blue Lakes Boulevard North, north of downtown, on the same side of town as the hospital. Nothing here says our rooms are the closest ones to St Luke's, and you should not read it that way.

If the drive is the only thing you are weighing, it should not decide much. Over three weeks of going back and forth, four minutes is not the difference. What room type is open, and what you can reach on foot without moving the car, will matter more than the map does.

A week against seven separate nights

The rate card is the same at every property that carries the room type. Not every property carries all three. Twin Falls Motel has singles only. Deluxe Motor Lodge, Jones Motel and 760 Main Ave Extended Stay are studios only, which means weekly only. Apollo Motor Inn and El Rancho Motel have singles and doubles. The other six have all three.

Double$75$525$275$250 less on the week

The crossover is earlier than most people expect. Four nights at the single nightly rate is $260. The week is $250. So from the fourth night onward the week costs less than the nights it covers, and the rest of the week comes with it. The double crosses in the same place. Four nights at $75 is $300 against $275 for the week.

The studio has no nightly figure at all. It is a weekly room at $325. We will not divide that into a per night number, because there is no such number, and inventing one to make the page tidier would not help anybody planning a budget.

Why the weekly rate is the one that matters here

Discharge dates move. That is the whole difficulty with booking a room around a hospital stay. You take three nights, then two more, then four more, and at some point you have paid a nightly rate for two straight weeks and done the same arithmetic eleven times standing in a hallway.

A weekly room takes the decision off you for seven days at a time. You pay for a week. If the week runs out and you still need to be here, you pay for another one. There is no running nightly total to keep in your head and no reason to commit to an end date nobody has given you yet.

There is no lease to sign and no credit check to pass. That is true at all twelve. Nobody in this position wants a paperwork appointment, and there is not one to attend.

Two things this page cannot tell you. Some rooms carry a deposit and some do not. It depends on the room, so ask when you call. And we do not publish availability, so nothing here promises a room is open. That is a phone question, at (208) 733-2010.

What is close on foot, property by property

Walking times were measured on the real pedestrian network on September 1, 2026, at a pace of about 2.8 miles an hour. Two warnings before you read the table. First, walking distance in this data reaches out past a mile and a half, so read the minutes and ignore the phrase. Second, the laundromat column counts coin laundromats and nothing else. The public map data behind it files dry cleaners and carpet cleaning under laundry as well, and leaving those in makes four of the twelve look far better served than they are.

Measured walking times from each property to the nearest place in each category. Measured September 1, 2026.

The pharmacy column is the one to trust most. Every pharmacy in this data is a pharmacy, with none of the category drift that turns up in the other columns, so those are the minutes to plan a prescription run around.

The two Kimberly Road properties are the farthest from the hospital and they are also the two with the longest walk to a pharmacy, 33 minutes at Kimberly Road Extended Stay and 27 minutes at Twin Falls Motel. The laundromat walk from those two is 29 and 39 minutes. If you will be without a car during the day, those two are the wrong pick for this particular stay. We would rather write that down than let you find it out on a Tuesday afternoon with a prescription to fill.

Old Towne Lodge has the shortest pharmacy walk of the twelve at 2 minutes, and Dunes Motel is 5 minutes. Dunes also has the shortest laundromat walk at 8 minutes, with Monterey at 9 and El Rancho and Park at 10. The Addison Avenue cluster is the strongest on that count. Old Towne Lodge is the reverse of it, 2 minutes to a pharmacy and 26 minutes to a machine you can wash clothes in.

The grocery column is groceries and corner stores together. At Apollo Motor Inn, Old Towne Lodge and Downtown Extended Stay the nearest one is a convenience store, not a supermarket, so treat those minutes as milk and aspirin rather than a full shop.

Every weekly rate published in Twin Falls, and who publishes none

You should have the whole list, not just ours. We read seven other Twin Falls lodging businesses on their own websites on September 2, 2026. Three of the seven publish a weekly figure. One has a website and a booking engine and publishes no weekly rate at all. Three have no website. This is what we read, not a price survey of every bed in town, and all of it can change without notice.

Canyon Springs Extended Stay, 1357 Blue Lakes Blvd N, publishes "As low as $295 a week!" alongside "Rates as low as $45 a night!" and monthly rentals beginning at $1,100 per month. Their FAQ says no credit checks. They book by phone or text and keep a waitlist form, with no booking engine.

Blue Lakes Inn Extended Stay, 952 Blue Lakes Blvd N, publishes two different weekly figures at once. Their body copy and FAQ say "As low as $480 a week!" while every page title and meta description on the site says "As Low As $360/Week", and $360 appears nowhere in the visible copy. The $360 is the figure that shows in a search result, so it is probably the number you saw before you clicked through. Both were live on September 2, 2026. They also publish "As low as $53/night when you book a month!" and monthly rentals beginning at $1600 per month, and their FAQ says no credit checks.

Motel 6 Twin Falls, 1472 Blue Lakes Blvd N, publishes no rack rate. Their site labels $45 a night as a weekly rate with a seven night minimum, which by their own stated minimum is $315 for the week. Their nightly numbers are live engine quotes for named dates rather than a rate card. On September 2, 2026 the engine quoted $95 a night for 1 to September 2, 2026, and $56 to $61 a night at the member rate for 14 to October 15, 2026 against a struck-through $64 to $69. Chain prices move daily, so treat any of those as a snapshot and not as their standing rate.

SureStay by Best Western Twin Falls, 1260 Blue Lakes Blvd N, publishes no weekly, monthly or extended stay rate anywhere, and the rate filter in its booking engine has no extended stay option. Its engine quoted $144.32 to $184 a night for 1 to September 2, 2026, which again is a live quote for one date.

Weekly figures published by the Twin Falls lodging businesses we read on September 2, 2026, on each business's own website.

Three more Twin Falls lodging businesses publish no rate at all, because they have no website. That is the honest reason a price comparison in this town is hard. There is no full list anywhere to read, so families end up calling five places in a row from a parking lot.

Where our number is lowest and where it is not

Of the eight businesses we read on September 2, 2026, four publish a weekly rate. Ours is $250 for a single. Canyon Springs is $295. Motel 6 works out to $315 for the week at their own seven night minimum. Blue Lakes Inn publishes $360 in its page titles and $480 in its body copy. Ours is the lowest published weekly figure of the four. We did not price every hotel in Twin Falls, and a chain that quotes only by date has no weekly rate to compare against.

Here is where we do not win. Canyon Springs publishes rates as low as $45 a night, under our $65 single. Blue Lakes Inn publishes $53 a night if you book a month. Motel 6's engine quoted $56 a night for a midweek date in mid October. On one night, cheaper rooms exist in this town, and if you only need one night you should probably call them. The week is where our number is lowest, and the week is the shape of the stay you are actually facing.

Two more things we do not beat. Canyon Springs and Blue Lakes Inn both publish a monthly rate, $1,100 and $1600, and we publish none. And all four of the businesses on Blue Lakes Boulevard North are north of downtown, on the hospital's side of town, which is a real advantage we have not measured and are not going to pretend away.

How to book, and what you will not be signing

What you will not sign is a lease or a credit application. What we will ask on the phone is which room type you want and roughly when you need to start. Whether a room is open is a question we answer on the call and not on a page, because the answer changes through the day.

If it helps, say up front that you are here for somebody at St Luke's and that you do not know how long. The person answering will not need it explained twice, and it saves you from having to work out an end date you do not have.

Questions people ask

Apollo Motor Inn at 296 Addison Ave W is the shortest drive at 6 minutes and 2.9 miles. Deluxe Motor Lodge at 761 Main Ave W is the shortest in distance at 2.8 miles and measures 7 minutes. Both measured on September 1, 2026, address to address, to 801 Pole Line Rd W. That ranking covers our twelve only. We did not measure the drive from any other lodging in town.

Four. Four nights at the $65 single nightly rate is $260 and the week is $250. Four nights at the $75 double rate is $300 and the week is $275. From the fourth night on the week is the lower number, and the remaining nights of that week are included.

There is no nightly studio rate. The studio is $325 for the week and is not sold by the night. We do not divide the weekly figure into a nightly one, because that figure does not exist.

No to both, at all twelve properties. Some rooms carry a deposit and some do not, and which is which depends on the room, so ask on the phone at (208) 733-2010.

No. Checked on September 2, 2026, none of our twelve Twin Falls properties are listed or bookable on Booking.com, Expedia or Hotels.com. Booking is direct, by phone.

Three of the seven other businesses we read. Canyon Springs Extended Stay at 1357 Blue Lakes Blvd N publishes as low as $295 a week. Motel 6 Twin Falls at 1472 Blue Lakes Blvd N labels $45 a night as a weekly rate with a seven night minimum, which is $315 for the week. Blue Lakes Inn Extended Stay at 952 Blue Lakes Blvd N publishes $480 a week in its body copy and $360 a week in every page title. All read on each business's own website on September 2, 2026, and lodging rates move.

Yes. Canyon Springs publishes rates as low as $45 a night and Blue Lakes Inn publishes $53 a night if you book a month, both below our $65 single. The Motel 6 booking engine quoted $56 to $61 a night at the member rate for 14 to October 15, 2026, which is a live quote for those dates and not a standing rate. Those are their own figures, read on September 2, 2026. Our number is lowest on the week, not on a single night.

Not the two on Kimberly Road. Kimberly Road Extended Stay is a 33 minute walk to the nearest pharmacy and 29 minutes to a coin laundromat. Twin Falls Motel is 27 minutes to a pharmacy and 39 minutes to a laundromat. Old Towne Lodge at 248 2nd Ave W has the shortest pharmacy walk of the twelve at 2 minutes, though its nearest laundromat is 26 minutes. Dunes Motel at 447 Addison Ave W is 5 minutes to a pharmacy and 8 minutes to a laundromat, which is the best pair of the twelve.

We do not publish availability and this page cannot tell you. Call (208) 733-2010 and ask what is open and in which room type. The office is at 296 Addison Ave W in Twin Falls.

Because several lodging businesses here publish no rates at all. Three of the ones we read on September 2, 2026 have no website. One more, SureStay by Best Western at 1260 Blue Lakes Blvd N, has a website and a booking engine but publishes no weekly, monthly or extended stay rate. There is no complete list to read, so people end up calling around.
