Blue Lakes Inn Extended Stay against New Leaf Properties: the weekly rate, side by side
Blue Lakes Inn Extended Stay publishes two different weekly rates at the same time. The body copy and the FAQ say $480 a week. Every page title and meta description on the same site says $360 a week. Both were live when we read the site on September 2, 2026.
New Leaf Properties runs twelve places in Twin Falls. Our single room is $250 a week at nine of them. That is the whole comparison. Everything below is the detail behind it, including the parts where their number beats ours.
Method, stated once: every competitor figure on this page came from that business's own website, read on September 2, 2026. Nothing came from an aggregator, a directory or a review site. Chain figures are live booking engine quotes for named dates, which is not the same thing as a rate card. Lodging prices move, so check theirs again before you decide.
Two weekly rates on one website, and the one a searcher actually sees
The exact words in their copy are "As low as $480 a week!". The exact words in their page titles are "As Low As $360/Week". The $360 figure does not appear anywhere in the visible copy of the site. It lives only in the titles and the meta descriptions, which is the text a search engine prints in a result.
So the number you see depends on how you arrive. Search their name and you are looking at $360. Click through and read the page and you are looking at $480. That is a $120 spread on the same week, on the same site, on the same day.
We are not going to guess which one they charge, and it is not ours to correct. If you are pricing a week there, call them and ask which figure is current before you drive over. Get it from a person, not from a page.
Against our $250 single, the two published figures work out like this. Their $360 title figure is $110 a week more than ours. Their $480 body figure is $230 a week more than ours. Those are the only two comparisons that exist, because those are the only two numbers they publish.
Since we are holding someone else's markup up to the light, here is ours. No rate appears in any of our twelve page titles at all. The figures in our meta descriptions are the same ones on our rate pages: $65 a night, and $250 to $325 a week depending on the room. There is no second number hiding in our source. Both figures were live on September 2, 2026 on bluelakesinn.com. A site can be fixed in an afternoon. If you are reading this later and their titles now match their copy, good. Trust what you see today over what we recorded.

What they publish that we do not
Three things, and they are not small ones if they happen to be the three things you care about. All three read on their own site on September 2, 2026.
- A published monthly rate
- "Monthly rentals begin at $1600 per month", in their words. We publish a nightly rate and a weekly rate and nothing longer. At month length they have posted a number and we have not.
- A nightly figure tied to a month
- "As low as $53/night when you book a month!". Our single is $65 a night with no month bracket behind it. At month length their advertised figure is under ours and we have nothing posted to answer it with.
- More than one way in
- Phone or text, plus a waitlist form on their site. Ours is the phone and only the phone.
That is the honest list from the pages we read. We did not record a pet policy, a kitchen list, a lease term or a deposit figure on their site. So we are not going to credit them with one and we are not going to hold the absence against them either. If any of that matters to you, ask them on the phone.
What our own pages say, and where the phone is still the answer
Some of this is published on every one of our sites and some of it is us not having the information in a form we can honestly print.
- Pets. This one is published. The house rules page on all twelve sites says pets are welcome at select properties only and to ask before booking, with a maximum of two per room subject to weight and breed approval. Pet friendly properties take a refundable pet deposit plus a small nightly pet fee. Service animals under ADA Title III are welcome at every property with no deposit and no fee.
- Deposit. Some of our rooms take one at move in and some take none. Which room you get is what decides it. We do not have that mapped in a way we can put on a page, so ask about the specific room when you call. Anyone who quotes you a flat deposit over the internet is guessing.
- Availability. We never publish it. A page that says a room is open is wrong within the hour and it wastes your drive.
- A monthly rate. We publish $65 and $75 a night, and $250, $275 and $325 a week. There is no longer bracket posted.
- The studio. It is $325 a week and the week is the unit it is sold in. There is no nightly studio rate to divide out of it.
One thing on our side that we are not going to bury, because we just spent a whole section on theirs. Eleven of our twelve house rules pages say studios have a full kitchen. The twelfth, at 761 Main Ave W, says studios include an in-room kitchenette with a mini fridge, a microwave and a basic cooking setup. Three of those eleven pages sit on properties with no studio at all, so there the line applies to nothing. If the room you want is a studio, ask what is actually in it rather than trusting the boilerplate.
Two things we can state flatly. No lease. No credit check. Same as them on the credit check, per their own FAQ read on September 2, 2026.
One address against twelve
They list one address, 952 Blue Lakes Blvd N. We run twelve, and none of ours are on Blue Lakes Boulevard. Five sit on Addison Avenue West, at 296, 380, 401, 433 and 447. Five sit downtown around Main Avenue and 2nd Avenue West, at 761 Main Ave W, 660 Main Ave N, 248 2nd Ave W, 320 Main Ave S and 760 Main Ave S. Two sit on Kimberly Road, at 1827 and 2152.
Twelve buildings is not automatically better than one. What it actually buys you is choice of room type and choice of street. Nine of the twelve carry a single at $250 a week. Eight carry a double at $275. Nine carry a studio at $325. Three are studio only, and one carries nothing but singles. So the room you want may be at a different address than the one you first looked up.
One phone number covers all twelve, which means you ask the question once instead of twelve times. That is the practical difference. It is not a claim about the rooms.
Where their number beats ours
On a single night, cheaper rooms exist in this town, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. Every figure in this list came off that business's own website on September 2, 2026.
- Blue Lakes Inn advertises as low as $53 a night when you book a month. Our single is $65 a night. At month length their advertised figure is under ours, and we have no monthly bracket to answer it with.
- Canyon Springs Extended Stay, at 1357 Blue Lakes Blvd N, publishes "Rates as low as $45 a night!" and "Monthly rentals begin at $1,100 per month". Both are below what we publish on those two dimensions.
- Motel 6 Twin Falls, at 1472 Blue Lakes Blvd N, publishes no standing nightly rack rate. Their engine quoted $56 to $61 a night at the member rate for 14 to October 15, 2026, against a struck through $64 to $69. Chain prices move daily, so that is a quote for those dates and nothing more.
The week is where our number is the lowest published one in town. The night is not, and the month is not a bracket we publish at all.

Four lodging businesses in Twin Falls publish a weekly rate. We are one of the four, and at $250 ours is the lowest of the four on the day we checked.

There is one more thing worth knowing before you try this comparison yourself. Three of the lodging businesses we checked in Twin Falls have no website at all, so they publish no rates anywhere. That is the real reason pricing a week in this town is harder than it should be. You cannot compare a number that does not exist, and a phone call is the only way to get it.
What is the same on both sides
The two of us are closer than the price gap suggests, and the similarities are worth saying out loud because they are what make this a fair comparison instead of a stunt.
- No credit check, on either side. Theirs is stated in their FAQ, read September 2, 2026. Ours is stated here.
- No booking engine, on either side. They take phone or text with a waitlist form. We take the phone. Neither of us is going to show you a price that moves while you look at it.
- A published weekly rate, on both sides. That already puts both of us ahead of the businesses in town that publish nothing.
One difference on the booking side is worth a line of its own. None of our twelve Twin Falls properties are listed or bookable on Booking.com, Expedia or Hotels.com, checked September 2, 2026. Booking is direct, by phone. We did not check whether they are.
How to check all of this yourself in about ten minutes
Do not take our word for any of it. The whole point of a page like this is that you can go verify it, and the check is short.
- Search for Blue Lakes Inn Extended Stay and read the price in the search result title. Write it down.
- Open bluelakesinn.com and read the price in the body copy and the FAQ. Write that down too.
- Call them. Ask which weekly figure is current, ask what the deposit is, and ask whether they take pets and what that costs.
- Read the house rules page on any of our twelve property sites for the pet policy and the cooking rules. It is the same policy on all twelve.
