Both of those figures came off those two companies' own websites, read on September 2, 2026, and both will move. That is the honest center of this page. A chain does not sell you a standing price. It sells you a quote.

One rate card covers all twelve. A single is $65 a night or $250 a week. A double is $75 a night or $275 a week. A studio is $325 a week, weekly only. There is no nightly studio price and we will not quote one.

Motel 6 does publish a weekly rate, and here is the arithmetic
This is the part most independents skip, so we will do it first. Motel 6 is not hiding a weekly price. Their site carries one. It reads $45 a night, labeled as a weekly rate with a 7 night minimum. Seven nights at $45 is $315. That is their own stated minimum, not a figure we built to make ourselves look better. Read on motel6.com on September 2, 2026.
Against the four weekly numbers published in this town, our $250 single is the lowest and our $325 studio is not. Motel 6's $315 is for one of their rooms, not for a studio, so it is not a like for like swap. But if what you are pricing is a week under a roof for roughly that money, theirs comes in ten dollars under our studio, and you should know that before you call us.
Their nightly numbers are a different animal. There is no rack rate on the site. Everything you see is a quote for the dates you entered. On September 2, 2026 their engine returned $95 a night for 1 to September 2, 2026, and $56 to $61 a night for 14 to October 15, 2026 at the member rate, against a struck through $64 to $69 without it. Same property, same engine, same day of checking. The spread between a September night and an October night is most of the price. That is normal for a chain and it is worth understanding before you compare anything to anything.
SureStay does not sell a week
We looked for a weekly rate at SureStay by Best Western and there is not one. No weekly figure, no monthly figure, no extended stay rate anywhere on the site as of September 2, 2026. The rate filter inside their booking engine does not carry an extended stay option, which tells you the product is not built for it.
What the engine did return, for the night of 1 to September 2, 2026, was $144.32 to $184 depending on room type. That is a live quote for one date. It is not a rate card, and by the time you read this it will be a different number.
None of that makes SureStay a bad choice. It is a branded hotel with a front desk, priced for a guest who wants a known room for a night or two on the Blue Lakes Blvd N strip. If that is the trip you are taking, book it. We are not going to argue you out of a product we do not sell.
What the chain tier does that we do not
Being honest about this is more useful than pretending the gap runs one way. Three things, and every one of them is a real advantage for somebody.
- Online booking. Both of those properties take reservations through their own booking engines, so you can book at any hour without talking to anyone. We cannot do that. Booking with us is a phone call to (208) 733-2010, and somebody has to pick it up. Before you read that as a knock on independents, Canyon Springs and Blue Lakes Inn also book by phone or text with a waitlist form and no booking engine, read September 2, 2026. Phone booking is the norm on the extended stay side of this market.
- A member rate. On September 2, 2026 the Motel 6 engine showed $56 to $61 a night for 14 to October 15, 2026 at the member rate, against a struck through $64 to $69 without it. Signing in gets you the lower number there. We have no member rate and no tiers, so everyone pays the figure we print.
- A national brand on the sign. A SureStay is a Best Western product and a Motel 6 is a Motel 6. That name is worth something to a lot of travelers and we cannot offer it. We are twelve separate buildings under one owner, and what you get is what that particular building is.
There is a fourth thing, and it is the one most likely to decide this for you. None of our twelve Twin Falls properties are listed or bookable on Booking.com, Expedia or Hotels.com. Booking is direct, by phone. If your employer or your case worker books lodging through one of those three sites, they cannot book us there. That alone is a good reason to pick a chain, and no price difference gets around it. Checked September 2, 2026.
What we do, and what is not ours alone
- A number that does not move. $250 a week for a single, $275 for a double, $325 for a studio. It is printed on the property sites. Nobody types in dates and gets a different answer than the person before them.
- No lease. You are not signing a twelve month document to get the weekly price.
- No credit check. This one is not ours alone and we are not going to pretend it is. Canyon Springs Extended Stay and Blue Lakes Inn Extended Stay both publish no credit checks in their own FAQs, read September 2, 2026. On the extended stay side of this town, no credit check is the standard rather than a favor.
- A weekly rate that is an actual rate rather than a nightly one multiplied out. Motel 6 reaches $315 by charging a lower nightly figure seven times. Our studio is not sold by the night at all, at any price, for any length of stay. Canyon Springs and Blue Lakes Inn publish real weekly rates too, so this is a difference from the chain tier, not from the whole town.

On a single night, cheaper rooms than ours exist in this town, and we are not going to write around that.

Every figure read on that business's own website on September 2, 2026. Ours is the lowest of the four, and it is one of four, not the only one.
Blue Lakes Inn is the one to watch when you comparison shop, because it publishes two weekly figures at the same time. The body copy and the FAQ say "As low as $480 a week!" Every page title and meta description says "As Low As $360/Week", and $360 does not appear anywhere in the visible copy. $360 is the figure that shows up in a search result, so that is the one you will see first, and $480 is the one you will read when you land on the page. Both were live on their own site on September 2, 2026. We mention it because it is exactly the kind of thing that wrecks a price comparison, not because it says anything about how they run their motel.
Three other lodging businesses in Twin Falls publish no rate at all, because they have no working website. Nothing to read, nothing to compare. That is most of the reason pricing a room in this town takes more work than it should.
